This June, voters have the opportunity to add meaningful property rights protections to the state Constitution. The California Property Owners and Farmland Protection Act will appear on the statewide ballot, after supporters submitted 1.1 million signatures to quality the initiative.

Take Part in Diesel Engine Survey
Providing Input Only Takes 5 Minutes

Did you know the state Air Resources Board has proposed regulations that would require the replacement or retrofitting of all diesel trucks over 14,000 lb gross vehicle weight used in farm related activities? Taking part in this survey will help indentify the amount of incentive funds that would be needed to assist farmers and ranchers in compliance.

In an effort to reduce emissions, these sweeping changes will impact about 400,000 in-state, on-road diesel vehicles. Your input is an important part of the process. By completing Farm Bureau's Diesel Truck Survey, you help to ensure that agricultural operations are taken into consideration.

The California Farm Bureau Federation, along with other agricultural organizations and the state Air Resources Board are gathering information to determine the economic impact of this rule. Your name and contact information will not be provided to the Air Resources Board.

If you have already completed the survey, thank you for taking part in this effort to protect family farms and ranches. There is no need to complete another one.
