We breed our does to Kiko bucks for purebred or cross goats. For our TeaCup™ goats, we use a Nigerian Dwarf buck with selected does.
We selected the Kiko because of how they were developed! Hardy, tough, and aggressive browsers. These goats are easy keepers. They do a lot of growth on available vegetation. Our herd is mature, as most of our does are over 6 years old, and have proven themselves with repeated kiddings. Our first buck is still with us, and producing great kids with these does. We lost our second buck in a freak accident. We did replace him with his half brother, Apollo. Everest and one of his sons went to a friend of ours to be used over his boer/spanish herd, and was also lost in an accident. We did keep one of his sons, Baha, as a replacement. We also have Nimbus, son of Netscape. And then there is Sparkey, an unusual combination with an experimental plan. We have also added two purebred bucks, Nash and Razor. Each doe page above is not complete. These are only a sampling of our does. We didn't start out with the goal of selling kiko goats. We have had the luxury of taking the time to develop our lines, identify the superior goats, and cull the poor performers. One of my favorite sayings is "You wouldn't ask a Clydesdale to run the Kentucky Derby" Goat CentralTM believes that kiko goats are the best, overall production goat to own. In view of the high demand for our kiko goats and our dogs , we do require a deposit to be placed in order to hold animals. A 10% deposit is required per animal. The deposit is non-refundable unless Goat Central CAN NOT provide you with the type of quality animal you deserve or request. We will accept checks, money orders, cashiers checks or PayPal for the initial deposit, with the remaining balance to be paid in the form of cash at the time of pick up. .
